Terra Cotta Warriors Exhibit in Houston
Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China's First Emperor exhibition has begun. It will go on thru Oct 18, 2009. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is excited to present one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century, the tomb complex of China's First Emperor, Shi Huangdi, features thousands of terra cotta warriors that were intended to protect him throughout eternity. Since their discovery, the terra cotta army has been termed the Eighth Wonder of the Ancient World.
