Soc. For the Performing Arts - Chava Alberstein. Nov 20, 8pm. Undoubtedly Israel’s most accomplished singer, Chava Alberstein has released over 54 recordings, many of them now gold or platinum. Wortham Center Tree Lighting Ceremony. Nov 26, 11am. The highlight of the event will occur when the Sugar Plum Fairy will illuminate 8,000 twinkling lights on Wortham Theater Center’s 25 foot Christmas tree.
