St. Thomas Scottish Festival. May 18, at the Toyota Center. The highly acclaimed, five-time Juvenile World Champions from the St. Thomas Episcopal School will perform an array of Scottish favorites as well as some contemporary pieces in conjunction with this year’s theme “Legend of the Glen.”

Stages Theatre - Mr. Marmalade. Grown-up actors portray children in this look at a precocious 4-year-old girl with an alarmingly adult imagination and a suicidal 5-year-old playmate next door. The title character, her imaginary friend, comes replete with cell phone, personal assistant and hectic schedule - representing the adult preoccupations that intrude on childhood innocence in contemporary society. Where Clouds Disperse: Ink Paintings by Suh Se-ok.  Over his 40-year career, Suh Se-ok has incorporated his traditional training with his Modernist sensibility to create dynamic works that embody his artistic vision. He has been especially transfixed by the figurative form and has continually explored and perfected it until it evolved into powerful formal gestures of simple lines that comprise his definitive pictorial vocabulary.
