I know that customer service is the
most important part of running a service. The company's resource depends on
customers but the fact is Bordard don't even care at all. What is the purpose of
having a telephone number if you couldn't get through to them to place an order.
The phone would ring and then they would switch it over to fax mode. Then you
call back and you would get a busy signal. I would recommend that should remove
their phone number if they don't want customers placing any order.

If you order something and someone
hung up on you that probably mean he didn't write it down and if you show up
asking where is your order of course your not going to have it. And how was the
food horrible if you haven't had it yourself? Think before you speak please.

Horrible Service & Food. I ordered some Nem Nuong rolls at 10am for a 6pm pick
up. The guy who answered sounded irritated that I called so early to give THEM
business. After I called back a few minutes later to change my order he hung up
on me. So 6 pm and I show up. The kid greeted me and I told him I am here to
pick up my order, he looked confused. 5 minutes later I asked a young girl,
again she seemed lost and confused. 15 minutes rolls by and I ask a 3rd kid and
he told me that they probably did not write down my order and that if I can come
back in 30 minutes they will have it ready. Well f*** that, I had a Christmas
party to go to. I will NEVER return or recommend this "Bistro". There are way
too many good restaurants on Bellaire with better service to eat at. This is
just 1 of several incidents but this one pushed me over the edge. Happy eating
Houston!

We have eaten Bodard Bistro many times since we've discovered it through this
website. We first went there for the pho, which was just ordinary, but have come
back many times solely for their shrimp paste rolls. They do have delicious egg
noodle soups as well. the last time we were there we ordered rice plates and
they were very tasty. Unfortunately Bodard is not consistent with the quality.
We have gone there and gotten a terrible meal and then the next time we go it's
great. It's hit or miss with them. Some people talk about bad service but the
service in my experience has been okay. The only problem has been the language
barrier. I know absolutely no Vietnamese and sometimes we'll get a waitress that
doesn't know any English. I''ve learned just to order by number and try not to
throw too many English words in there so no one gets confused.

I have to admit, this restaurant
made GREAT dishes. But the service is much worse. If you demand both, mind as
well go somewhere else.
