Happy Chinese Lunar New Year

Hi everyone! "Guon Shi Fa Tsai". It is Asian Waldo here and I wish everyone a very prosperous and happy Chinese New Year. My life has been pretty hectic for the past few weeks. I had the opportunity to attend the Houston Chinese New Year Festival yesterday at the Chinese Community Center and I was impressed. There were alot of people, young and old, that came out to celebrate and have fun. The performances were top notch as well except for a few that popped my eardrum with the loud drums. I saw a few of my buddies at the festival along with a few fairly famous people in the Asian community as well. The weather was good up until the afternoon where it just started pouring. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the Houston Rockets power dancers put on quite an energetic show:) Overall, this festival is as close as I can be to feeling like I was back in Taiwan celebrating Chinese New Year.
