Ay-Chung Flour Rice Noodle Chinese Restaurant

Chinese Restaurant in Houston Review

9338 Bellaire Blvd.
Houston, TX 77036
(Located next to Diho Center)

The legendary Ay-chung started on the street of the old Taipei’s Won-Hwa (萬華) district. It started by selling noodle dishes from a push cart. After 35 years, the restaurant made its debut in Flushings, NY. During the next five years, it has expanded to California and Texas.

The Scene:
Ay-chung flour-rice noodle’s signature red and yellow dual stripe is now part of every major city’s Chinatown landmark, especially here in Houston. Inside the restaurant, you will notice the blend of warm colors and the two beautiful plasma TV's. Even the chair and table colors complement the wall colors which is a nice touch. Known for its food, Ay-Chung Restaurant has a nice selection of traditional Taiwanese dishes. Their best selling dishes are the pork chop with rice and House special thin noodle. Their prices are unbelievably cheap. When you come here, first go to the round table next to the counter and look at the menu. Decide and order what you like with the cashier. Bubble teas are also available here. This is a great one stop place for a delicious lunch and good bubble tea drink.
